Towering peaks, ancient Gurung villages, and lush rhododendron forests — this 13-day adventure takes you deep into the heart of the Himalayas, trekking through breathtaking landscapes to reach the iconic Annapurna Base Camp at 4,130m, with sweeping 360-degree views of some of the world’s highest mountains.

Distance: 176 kms/ 7 hours approx.
We leave early this morning for our journey to Besishar. The highway leading upto Besisahar is under construction, so the journey will be rocky and long. We will stop for short breaks and lunch on the way.
Upon reaching Besisahar, we check into the hotel and prepare for our journey to Manang.

Distance: 91.5 kms / 7-8 hours approx.
After breakfast, we hop on a 4×4 Jeep to head towards Manang. The path is extremely rocky and we drive alongside Marsyangdi River. The views are immersive and you will get to see the Hiunchuli Peak along the way. The drive will show you the natural beauty of Nepal as well as the people and the old settlements. Once we reach Manang and rest for the night.

Today we will explore Manang, the small town that serves as a tourist hotspot during trek season. It is quaint yet lively.
To acclimatize, we will do a day hike to Chongkhor viewpoint which overlooks the Gangapurna Lake and the Manang Town. The trek is about 2.5 hrs of uphill and 1.5 hr of downhill from the starting point.
If we have time we will explore Gangapurna Lake while coming back. The lake was formed by glaciers melting from Mt. Gangapurna (7,454m), Annapurna IV (7,525m), Khangsar Kang and Glacier Dom.
Then we return back to the teahouse. Rest of the evening will be at your leisure.

Trek Distance: 11 kms / 4 hrs approx.
After breakfast, we will head towards Khangsar which is our next trek stop. The trek will take approx. 4 hrs depending upon the speed – we are gaining elevation so it is best to trek slowly and steadily. We will walk alongside of Marsyangdi River, the path is clear along with uphills.
Once we reach the teahouse, we have lunch and the rest of the day is at leisure.
We are moving at a slow pace to maintain our strengths as well as acclimatise with the elevation.

Trek Distance: 8 kms / 5-6 hrs approx.
From Khangsar, the trail becomes steep up until you reach a traditional Buddhist Gumba.
We take a moment to enjoy the Gumba and the magnificent view. Then we keep climbing up until we reach the infamous Landslide Area.
The Landslide Area covers about an hour and half of the trek time as our mobility is restricted given the landscape. We have to be extremely careful while walking the path.
Upon reaching Tilicho Base Camp, we check in and rest for the evening. A big day is ahead tomorrow to the Tilicho Lake.

Trek Distance: 6kms / 5 hrs to the Tilicho Lake, going up / 3 hrs back to Tilicho Base Camp coming down
We leave the teahouse very early in the morning (before the sunrise). The majority of the trek is steep climbing, and we are gaining a significant amount of elevation so we will walk at a very controlled pace. The path goes through another landslide area hence, we need to be careful with each step.
Once we reach Tilicho Lake, we get some time to take pictures enjoying the sunrise depending upon the weather. Then we hike back down to the Tilicho Base Camp.

Trek Distance: 19 kms / 5.5 hrs approx.
After breakfast, we hike down to Manang – the initial climb will be a bit difficult since we are going back through the Landslide area. Once we reach Shreekhara, the trek becomes much smoother.
Upon reaching Manang, check in and rest for the evening. Tomorrow we head back to Besishar.

After breakfast, we will depart for Besishar by the same road we came from. The drive will take about 7-8 hrs.
Upon arriving at the hotel, we check in and rest for the night.

After breakfast, we will head towards the capital. Upon arriving, we check into the hotel and the rest of the evening is at your leisure.

Accommodation Policy: Please note that during the peak trekking season, teahouses often operate at full capacity. While we strive to secure the best available lodging, single rooms are not guaranteed. Travelers should be prepared for shared occupancy with other travelers.
Washroom Facilities: All washroom and bathing facilities throughout the trek will be provided on a shared basis only.

Meal Option: We have provided an optional add-on for a full meal plan. Meal rates for this option are based on the standard, energy-rich Nepali Thali Set (Dal Bhat).

Domestic Flights: The cost of the Kathmandu – Pokhara – Kathmandu domestic flights is included in your package price. Please be aware that domestic flight prices are subject to fluctuation until the time of booking and ticketing.
Trek Timings: All daily trekking hours and timings provided in the itinerary are approximate estimates and will be adjusted based on the group’s collective trekking pace and fitness level.

Post-Trek Leisure: We have intentionally excluded extra sightseeing tours in Kathmandu and Pokhara to allow you time to relax and unwind after the trek.
Optional Sightseeing: Should you wish to include additional tours, we would be happy to provide a list of optional sightseeing excursions upon request.
Health & Preparation (Crucial)
Physical Conditioning: Prior to the trek, we strongly recommend a dedicated focus on physical fitness. This should include cardiovascular exercise, strength training, and regular hiking with a weighted pack to best prepare for the mountain environment.
Insurance & Safety (Added Point): Travel Insurance is mandatory and must cover emergency medical expenses and helicopter rescue/evacuation up to the highest altitude of the trek.
